Project Details

I was the Head Chef for a youth camp called Youth For Freedom Midwest. I  planned all of the meals and cooked for over 90 people for three days. I had three trainings before the camp in order to prepare mentally, emotionally and spiritually. These trainings prepared me and taught me about the camp and what happens there. I did not teach directly in the camp because I was not a counselor however I contributed to the discussions and learned from the youth and presenters. I wanted to learn how I could be free in all aspects of my life and help others around me achieve that freedom as well.

Budget​

  • Gas was needed to travel to Missouri from Utah for camp- $200 was used from a savings account.

  • All lodging was provided by the camp.

  • I was not compensated financially for this project.

  • The camp paid for all of the food provided, unfortunately I do not have any of the receipts or budget they gave me to report on, my copy of the budget was lost while at camp.
